This cartridge is a TRUE refillable cartridge with SCREW OFF endcaps - not glued lids.
This unique canister allows both ends to screw off so the pads and the sediment can be replaced or cleaned.
All other canisters of this size do not permit access to the top filter plug which is what blocks up to render the cartridge unusable.

Bio ceramic cartridges are made of ceramic filtration material. The filtration material, in the form of ceramic balls, is produced with carefully selected ceramic clay and porous binding material. The production process involves dissipation, sieving, compacting and frying. The surface is hard and micro-porous.
